Sustainability Initiative
Our Mission
At the International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL), we want to play our part in securing our future. We’re on a mission to reduce our carbon emissions to zero by 2027 and ensure our school becomes one of the first carbon-neutral institutions in the world. Additional projects are being implemented to accomplish the goal of becoming zero-waste on a similar timeline.
Our Initiatives
The ISZL Sustainability Initiative is divided into two teams: the Zero Carbon team, which runs the Carbon Credit Fund, aiming for net-zero carbon emissions by 2027; and the Zero Waste team, working to minimize the waste generated by our school. Together our goal is to become a leader in the global sustainability movement, make new connections, and introduce sustainability into our school curriculum through several action-based projects.
Contribute
The Carbon Credit Fund makes contributions simple. You can offset your carbon footprint through the program, by supporting our numerous offsetting projects as they become available.
